I’ve always been someone who loves solving problems.
In my work as a nutritional therapist I apply this every day, identifying potential triggers and working hard to get to the underlying root cause of your symptoms. My passion is autoimmune conditions. I’m doggedly determined to help people like you break free from chronic pain, discomfort and general fatigue and reclaim your zest for life using the power of real food.
It breaks my heart to see people resigned to a conventional medical diagnosis with no support, no alternatives, progressively more medications and bouncing around the health system for years feeling lost.

You’re in the right place, I’ve been there too
In my early 20s, a high-flying city job started to lay the foundations for my future ill health.
I regularly pulled ‘all-nighters’, took a work-hard play-hard approach to life and lived off office takeaways while glued to my desk. To say the stress levels were intense would be the understatement of the year.
An exotic beach escape from the grind saw me catch a nasty bug, which kicked off an autoimmune cascade in my body.
Within days I was in agonising joint pain, unable to walk and my boyfriend (now husband!) had to carry me around the island.
Once back in the UK, the search for answers started.
This took some time, and eventually, I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis (an autoimmune inflammatory condition which can cause the bones in the spine to fuse).
I vividly remember the consultant shaking my hand, saying “I’m sorry, there’s nothing you can do” and packing me off with a prescription for high-dose anti-inflammatory drugs. I was in shock, I was 23, just starting out in life and here I was being told that there was no alternative, I had a chronic degenerative condition and would have to take drugs for the rest of my life and if I was lucky, I might avoid surgery.
My intellectual curiosity, perseverance (and a good dose of youthful stubbornness) kicked in at this point. I refused to believe there was no other way and started to research options (in what little internet there was available at the time – yes I am that old).
I reintegrated exercise into my life and started to read around health and nutrition to try to get my body back into balance. I’m not going to say it was a quick fix, but now I lead an active, pain-free life without relying on any medications. I want this for you too.
Following my passion for nutrition
FOR ME, THE PANDEMIC BROUGHT A MOMENTARY PAUSE AND WELCOME TIME TO REFLECT.
Seeing so many people struggling with their health was the impetus I needed to take a deep breath and step away from the corporate world I had known for the past 20+ years. It was finally time to focus on following my passion to expand my nutrition expertise and enable me to deliver meaningful change to people like you.

The magic pills, miracle diets or one-size-fits-all approaches touted in the media are sadly mythical. We’re all amazingly unique and what has just worked for someone you know may not work the same for you.

Mum to 2 gorgeous children, a wife to a lovely hubby and owned by a very special Rhodesian Ridgeback
My ideal day would start with some exercise, ideally outdoors (I’ve been known to cover the patio in various exercise contraptions when it’s warm enough) followed by a lazy nourishing breakfast and a hike up a mountain
When the opportunity arises, I love to escape to the mountains and ski, or give myself new exciting challenges to face
Sad as it may sound, I can happily get lost for hours digging into the latest emerging science and research around health and nutrition
You’ll generally find me pottering about in my veg patch nurturing seedlings or harvesting the fruits of my labour
If not in the garden, I’ll be in the kitchen creating simple, delicious dishes with seasonal food to share with family and friends and to help demystify the art of healthy eating

Trust me, I’ve worked really hard at this…
I spent three years training with the award-winning College of Naturopathic Medicine achieving a Distinction in an honours-degree-level qualification in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy. This involves one year of biomedicine (biochemistry, anatomy, pathology and pathophysiology), two full years of evidence-backed nutritional medicine and over 200 hours of clinical practice.
I’m qualified as a Precision Health Coach with PHA, have undertaken further extensive study to become a Nutrigenomics practitioner and additional training in Functional Medicine (which takes a more in-depth look at the body’s various systems and disorders, including gastro-intestinal, cardiovascular and hormonal health) with the Kharrazian Institute in the US. I’m currently a member of the Autoimmune Academy in the UK, run by renowned expert Robyn Puglia.
I’m also training as a Mycotherapy Expert (this uses the incredible qualities of medicinal mushrooms to treat specific conditions) with the IMMA.
Over twenty years of working at the highest level in investment banking, analysing data, recognising patterns and delivering on complex multi-faceted projects, together with all my nutrition and functional medicine training, plus an incurable sense of curiosity has given me a unique set of tools to help you get to the root cause of your condition.
The transformational changes I have seen for clients in clinics light up my world – I can’t wait to be able to bring this to you personally.
