Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the day retreat ‘Nourished by Nature’ taking place 13th June 2026 (the "Event"), provided by Tina Hancocks Nutrition Ltd ("We," "Us," or "Our").
1.2 By registering for the Event, participants ("You" or "Your") agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions in full.
2. Provider Credentials
2.1 Tina Hancocks is a qualified Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach, registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and the Naturopathic Nutrition Association (NNA). She has also undertaken extensive postgraduate training in genetics, nutrigenomics and Mycotherapy and holds Functional Medicine certificates from the Kharrazian Institute in the US.
2.2 Wendy Jackson LCPH is a fully qualified homeopath with over 20 years of experience, having trained at The Birmingham College of Homeopathy. She is also trained in Australian Bush Flower Essences and a range of complementary natural modalities.
3. Event Details
3.1 The Event will take place on Saturday 13th June 2026, from 10:00am to approximately 4:30pm (arrival 9:30-10:00am), at a private venue in Londonthorpe, Lincolnshire. Full location details and directions will be shared with confirmed participants following booking.
3.2 The Event is limited to a maximum of nine participants to preserve the intimate and supportive nature of the day.
3.3 The Event includes guided workshops, foraging and fermentation activities, a seasonal lunch, welcome refreshments and afternoon tea, a woodland walk and guided reflection, and a curated goodie bag. Full programme details are described on the Event sales page.
3.4 The content provided throughout the day is for general educational and experiential purposes and does not constitute individualised medical, nutritional or therapeutic advice. If You have any specific health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before attending.
If You have a diagnosed medical condition, known allergies, or any dietary requirements, You must inform Us in advance of the Event so that we can make reasonable accommodations where possible.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 The cost of the Event is £145 per person (£125 for the first three places booked by the end of April 2026).
4.2 Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Your place is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@tinahancocks.com.
5.2 The following refund schedule applies, calculated from the date of the Event (13th June 2026):
5.3 10 or more days before the Event: Full refund.
5.4 5 to 9 days before the Event: 50% refund.
5.5 Fewer than 5 days before the Event: No refund.
5.6 Where a cancellation is made and no refund is due, We will endeavour to fill Your place from a waiting list. If Your place is successfully filled, You will receive a full refund of the amount paid. We cannot, however, guarantee that Your place will be filled and no assurance is given in this regard.
Non-attendance on the day without prior written notice does not entitle You to a refund.
6. Cancellation by Us
6.1 In the unlikely event that We are required to cancel the Event, You will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable and will receive a full refund of the amount paid. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by You as a result of cancellation, including travel or accommodation.
6.2 We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to the programme, venue or facilitators where necessary. Where changes are material, You will be informed promptly.
7. Accessibility and Suitability
7.1 The Event takes place across indoor and outdoor spaces, including gardens and woodland with uneven natural terrain. Participants will be on their feet for periods throughout the day, including a woodland walk on open ground.
7.2 The venue is not wheelchair accessible and the outdoor spaces are not suitable for those with significant mobility limitations. We encourage You to consider this carefully before booking.
7.3 If You have any concerns about whether the Event is suitable for You given a physical health condition or mobility need, please contact Us at hello@tinahancocks.com before booking so that We can discuss the day in more detail and help You make an informed decision.
8. Participant Responsibilities
8.1 Participation in all activities is voluntary. You accept full responsibility for Your own health, safety and wellbeing during and after the Event.
8.2 You must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies or dietary requirements prior to the Event.
8.3 You agree not to make any changes to prescribed medication without first consulting Your healthcare provider.
8.4 You will follow all safety guidelines provided on the day and participate at a level appropriate to Your own health and fitness.
8.5 The outdoor elements of the day, including a woodland walk, take place on natural terrain. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the conditions. We are not liable for any injury arising from participation in outdoor activities.
9. Food and Allergies
9.1 Food and drink will be provided throughout the day, including a seasonal lunch, welcome refreshments and afternoon tea. All food is prepared with care using whole, natural ingredients. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate dietary requirements disclosed in advance, We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
9.2 The fermentation workshop will involve handling of food produce. Please inform Us of any relevant allergies or sensitivities in advance.
10. Photography and Marketing
10.1 We may take photographs and/or video recordings during the Event for use in marketing and promotional materials, including on Our website and social media platforms.
10.2 If You do not wish to be included in any photographs or recordings, please notify Us in writing before the start of the Event. We will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate Your request.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 We do not accept liability for any injury, illness, allergic reaction or adverse outcome arising from participation in the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
11.2 We do not guarantee specific health outcomes as a result of attending the Event.
11.3 The Event is for educational and experiential purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
11.4 We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during the Event.
12. Privacy
12.1 We will collect and process Your personal information in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Please refer to Our Privacy Policy here for full details.
12.2 Conversations and personal disclosures shared within the group during the Event are to be treated as confidential by all participants. We ask that You respect the privacy and experiences of others.
13. Governing Law
13.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
